My ds has been sick for a week with nasty cold, high temp.
It looks like my 4 week baby is now showing symptoms.......how have others dealt with this? I will keep an eye on temp and know to go in if it reaches 100 degrees f. But other than that when should I act? I am b feeding her.

you might find she struggles with feeding if she's blocked up. i had to feed my DS1 in the bathroom with the shower running to help him when he was a tiny baby!

I'm not sure about when to act, keeping an eye on temp seems sensible though.

hope she doesn't suffer it too badly.

i also tried karvol on a hankie beside his cot, and the boots baby vapour rub is good, i can't remember if it's only for use from 2 months though.

hi my poor ds has had 2 bad colds picked up from his school age cousin the first was around 6 weeks i was advised by doc to keep an eye on the temp unless it's to high they can't do a thing :(

I did get some good advice turning the bathroom into a sauna to steam baby, prop up where your LO sleep with a towel folded under the matress, give lots of fluids if temp is high ds took about 2oz of water from a bottle, and saline drops before a feed to clear them out.

good luck hope your LO doesn't suffer to much
