Just came in the post - soo excited - got it up and running and she's knocked her head already - nothing major just a bump - she's not at all bothered and is lovin it. Posting for any tips and advice on using it

You need:

Parcel tape
2 oven gloves

Directions: Use parcel tape to secure oven gloves at dc's head height then let the bouncing commence. I did this, tell no-one Grin

I just looked out my nieces door bouncer but there are no instructions can you tell me what age you can use it from?

lola, I have my 3mo in a bouncer occasionally as she has strong legs and a good, sturdy head, and the 'seat' bit of the bouncer we have comes up to her armpits and gives her lots of support. However as she is so young I only leave her in for a few mins at a time, and sit next to her the whole time. She loves it though!

I think the official line is when they can hold their heads unaided. DD is just shy of 6mo and I would say she's been in it for about 7 weeks. At first I would sit with her and only keep her in it for very short spells but she loves it now and could probably go for hours if I let her!!

i had a look online and it said 3 months tried ds in it and he loved it too :) looked very surprised he could actually move himself. I thought 3 months might be a bit young but ds is 3 months he does seem to be the hulk of the baby world as he can sit upstraight without support for a few seconds. wouldn't want to leave him alone in it he may be freakishly strong but he has no coordination :)

LOL for a moment when I saw the title of this thread I literally thought "my goodness, a bouncer at the door of a mum and baby group? What on earth??"

Then I twigged.

Blush

Can't even claim ignorance. Both DDs loved their baby bouncer! And DD2 is only 5 so it's not even like it was that long ago.

Blush again

Those foam rolls that you can buy from homebase for lagging pipes. Stick them to the door frames. Means you can't shut the door but prevents knocks.
