ok..I started gina ford stage 2 potty training at 8am this morning and we have had no wees at all..does this mean my 2.3 dd had really good bladder control or is she holding it in? her nappied are always quite dry (only using 3 max a day)

Hi itsdday, I used the Gina Ford book too and ignored the bit about 'if your child is under 28 months and has no wees or poos in the potty on the first day, then give up for a few weeks'. This didn't seem to matter for ds who picked it up up fairly quickly at 21m. DD however, was a complete failure really. If I could do it again I would have given up after the first day and waited. She was only 22m though! She is going back in pants on Thursday after three months back in nappies. Fingers crossed this time works! Good luck for you!
