The SMELL

I have what is popularly described as a galleried landing. This means that the inside of the house goes up two floors. DD's room is on the first floor. DS's room is also on the first floor, diagonally opposite. They are both teenagers.

The smell wars are appalling. From DD's room, we have deodorant, hair stuff, perfume. From DS's room, we have Lynx. Lynx deodorant and smelly stuff.

It percolates down into the hall, and into the whole ground floor. Lynx is winning, by the way, by a country mile.

But I do not want my whole house smelling of Lynx. It is not very nice. It is in fact over-powering.

Should I confiscate all their smelly stuff and let them smell rank? It would be a better alternative. Should I launch an offensive, with air fresheners? Should I move out?
