Hello fellow students, so glad i found this bit!!

Im on an NHS funded course so get tuition fees paid and a monthly bursary. Had DD last year (did exams at 36 weeks pregnant) and took 12 months off, am going back in a month.

Im applying at the moment and have sent my bursary form off with the childcare bit all signed and completed by me and my childminder as i am aware i can get help with childcare costs whilst i study this way.

However...when applying for student finance it asks if i want to apply for a childcare grant....can i do both or just one??

Thanks

No, it's one or the other. Has been for years.
