we had a glider chair from when dd was little but i sat my 35+5w butt in it last night and the base/glider bit broke Blush. I dont think it is repairable. DH is going to have a look at it but i am not holding it out any hope.

So, if it has to be a new one can anyone recommend a good replacement? it needs to be comfy but reasonably compact. The room is small.

All thoughts gratefully received.

Hi i just bought a rocker from ikea it is quite big but no bigger than most gliders, the great thing is how light it is we have a tiny room and had to put it infront of the cupboard but can be moved over with a nudge to get in. The base was £80 and the covers go from £14.99 up to about £100 i got the £14.99 cover it's very comfy and nice.

DS loves it and DP wants one of his own it's so comfy :)

IKea poang chair fits in DS's 3m x 2m bedroom along with single bed, bedside table and largish chest of drawers.
