Leaking bumgenius

My DD is 16 months and we have started re-using our bum genius nappies after a short break (whilst our kitchen was being done). I'm now finding that they are completely saturated after 1-2 hours. I have tried strip washing them. Is there anything else we can do or is her bladder just got too big? What easy to use reusable alternatives are there?

there was a thread about this recently, I think the outcome was to have some bamboo inserts as well as the synthetic one

Try using a hemp or bamboo inset as well as the ones they came with!

yy to hemp inserts, mine last 2 hours max without them.
