How old are your children and what time do they go to bed?

I have three ages 6y7m, 5y2m and 3y8m. The 6yo goes to bed at 7.30 and started doing this after Christmas, the other two still go at 7pm. They all have their tea at 5pm and we eat after they all go to bed.

How did you manage different bedtimes, extending bedtimes and what is a normal bedtime for older children?

Mine at 3y9m & 7m. The aim is supper at 6, bath at 6.30 & lights out at 7.30. In reality the baby generally does go down around 7.30 but the 3 yo has lights out closer to 8. Does mean she wakes around 7am though which is more pleasant than it has been.

Baby managed to post abruptly! I've been wondering about staggered bedtimes as they get older but obv mo experience yet...

Anyone else?

My 2 year-old went to bed at: 10pm on Thursday, 7.10pm on Friday, with naps at 3pm Thurs, 12noon Friday and 10am today!

Usually it's around 8.30/9pm with an hour at 1ish though.

What about older children with different bedtimes how do you work that?

dd (8y5m) has weekday bedtime at 8.15pm and 9pm at weekends
ds (5y6m) has weekday bedtime at 7.45pm amd 8.30pm at weekends

They eat around 5/5.30pm and I eat with dh later after he gets home from work

12 year old 9pm school night
4 year old 7pm
4 year old 7.15pm
1 year old 7pm

4 year old 6pm
Almost 7 year old lights out 6.45pm

Poppyhoo, they go to bed so early, that must be lovely.......hang on, what time do they get up though?

I dont think mine have ever gone to bed as early as 7am, even when babies/toddlers

Kendodd, older girl 6.15 am, she reads in bed until 7am and then gets out of bed, my four year old wakes up between 6.30 am and 6.45 am but stays in bed until 7am. They both have those Gro clocks which are fantastic! My almost 7 year old has lights out at 6.45 pm but seems to drop off between 7pm-7.15 pm.

5.5yr and 3.8yr olds both go to bed at 7pm (7.15 ish after story)

5.5yr old reads after this, but usually conked out by 7.30 pm
