It occurred to me during a recent conversation about NHL dentists being like hens teeth that my first DD will eventually need to sign up. I am not in an NHS dentist. Do I need to put her name on a waiting list now??? She is 6mths.

A lot of dentists will treat children of private patients under the NHS. Does your dentist not do this?

Have you spoken to your dentist about your DD? It would be a natural conversation to have next time you are there.

There are lots of dentists taking on NHS patients at the moment, trust me, I have a list for my PCT to give out to patients at my OOH session and there are nearly 30 practices listed. Your PCT should be able to tell you who has spaces but I agree with ClaireAll (again! I'm not stalking you Claire!!) speak to your dentist & they will be able to either see her or tell you who can.
