DH has just had to lay the law down to DS and DD who have been warring for what seems like hours over a game of Monopoly. Finally I could stand it no longer so I told them in no uncertain terms to SHUT (the f**k) up and put the game away. DH then saw his arse and told them they were 'pathetic losers and weren't having any more TV etc today.

Oh the endless joys of parenting are bountiful.

Oh, ha ha, took me at least a minute there to get your meaning ( bit slow sorry), funny you should say that though because that's the counter he always picks for himself. Don't you have that saying down your way, pretty common oop North to 'see your arse' posh dictionary definition 'to lose one's self control/temper'.
