BumGenius any good for heavy wetting toddler?

I mainly use Bumbles for my heavy wetting 10mo, with a few Bum Genius as well. I love the BG as they're so easy and also look much cuter, but I'm struggling to keep them from leaking - at the moment I use two Little Lamb bamboo inserts plus the terry insert from my Bumbles, and that lasts max 3 hours in a good wind but it's a bit touch and go. First nappy of the day has to be a Bumble, with the insert, and it's wringing wet after two hours. I'd love to get some more BG because I like them a lot more than a two-part system, but am not sure if it's worth it. Presumably DD is going to continue doing bigger wees as she gets older so I'd better resign myself to the puff-ball Motherease wraps for the rest of her nappying? Any thoughts from mums with heavy wetting toddlers?
