21 month old hitting herself

hi my daughter is 21 months old and when she gets upset she has started hittig herself! its very unsettling is this somthing to be concerned about?? pls help xx

My son used to and he was a biter, once he bgan talking clearly and was nderstood a lot of this behaviour stopped.
