How to set a Gro clock?! Help

Hello, this is a plea for help from anyone who owns a Gro clock! I bought one recently for my 3 year old as they have fantastic reviews on Amazon - no-one seemed to report problems setting the timers so clearly it is just me who is incompetent in this respect Blush but I can't get it to turn to the sun and stars when I want it to!

On the settings menu there is a star and a sun and it says that you use the star to enter bedtime and the sun to enter daytime nap. I just want to set bedtime and when it should turn to sun in the morning, but it only allow you to set one time - which I assumed is the time you want to set 'morning'. When I did that the clock was then still registering 'Mr Sun' at 7.30pm when ds went to bed. I pressed a button which changed it to 'Mr Star' but that seemed to reset the time I'd set for the morning and when I had to go in to his room at 2am it was back on Mr Sun! And at 7am it was still Mr Star...

Any ideas on how to get it working please? It looks great if only I could get the timings set correctly! Thank you...

Press the down arrow until you get the screen with all the icons on. Then press the enter (circular button). To set the clock, press the circular button again and then use the arrows to set the time and am/pm - use the circular button to move through hours, minutes etc.
To set the sun time etc use the same process - using the arrow keys and then enter to get to the one you want to set

There are two settings for sun up (star and moon is it?) we set these for 7am and 7.30 for the weekend!!
Use the down arrows to get to the list of icons then the round button to get the clock. Again use the up and down arrows to set the hour, the hit round button to save then it moves to minutes and use up and down again, then round button to save an so on. There is am and pm on the time too as you scroll through so set this properly. Then you just scroll through other icons to get the star get up time and repeat the process. Once all saved the clock will be showing the sun gave or the plain clock with a blue face. When your DC goes to bed, use the down arrows to get to the sun face with the star flashing. Press the round button and it will change to blue an stars and then in the morning will turn to sun at time you've set. This is all you need to do each night. Smile

what the others said - but also if you find your DD is suddenly getting up in the middle of the night, try turning down the brightness to zero, it will light up at the right times but not light up the room all night

We set both settings (night sleep & day nap) to the same wake up time so that if we manage to scroll to the wrong one it doesn't make any difference. Never used the day nap one for actual day naps so easier not to have the confusion!

Also, other trouble-shooting that catches us out (and what may have been your problem) is making sure you've got the am/pm right on both the actual time and the 'wake-up' time.

Plus - if you have a power cut check your times carefully - sometimes a power outage will reverse the am/pm settings.
