moving house

We are in the process of selling our house to pay off ex and move to a different area,kids are 9 8 and 2 any ideas how to explain this & make it easier for them to understand,and what do you do with them on moving day????

Not much advice but we're moving soon with a 2yo and have been worrying about it. I started a thread a while ago but I can't find it now...
On moving day either my sister is having my dd or she will go to a friend's. It's the packing I@m worrying about more than moving day!

there is a nice Usbourne book about moving house, which would be good for your 2y/o. There are a few different versions, you might be able to pick it up at the library or ebay.

ime when we moved house my kids were most worried about their toys. Thought they were going to have to leave them with the old house! lol

Once they knew that they were taking everything wiht them they were OK. Settled in fine and no problems....
