Snotty Eyelashes

Hey

I need some advice: how on earth do I get dried-in snot off DS1's eyelashes? He has a permanently runny nose that gets wiped all over his face in the night and today has dried his eyelashes into clumps.

So far I've tried babywipes, cotton & water and the good old spit & tissue. He still has just 3 green, chunky eyelashes.

He's a year old so this also has to be done one-handed while I pin him - gently - down.

If there's only a bit left and it's not bothering him, I'd leave it to get crispy and then try a gentle rub with a wet finger. Once it's dry, I find it crumbles out more easily and sticks to the wet finger Grin

Good luck!

It's dried but it seems glued in there. No snotty crumble coming out. Thanks though. Maybe bath time will wash it out.

I was told if possible to use a bit of Vaseline to soften it when ds had conjunctivitis.

Cheers, I'll crack out the Lansinoh before bath time.
