Washing up liquid and bottles

I have Mam bottles and wash them in hot water and washing up liquid before sterilising them. I have noticed that they smell strongly of washing up liquid and so have reduced the amount of liquid I am using but formula is soo greasy to get off. What does every one else use???

I used to use the dishwasher and, after a few months, not bother with sterilisers at all. Blush

I used to just wash them in whatever washing up liquid I had at the time, then rinse them (do you do that?) then sterilise them. Never had any problem with smelling of w-u liquid.

Top rack of dishwasher here.

Still do sterilise them after though.
