pull ups leaked

Haven't tried toilet training yet but used pull ups for ds last week when we went swimming - thought it would be quicker getting him dressed after swimming etc. Anyway when we got home ten mins later his vest and trousers were wet. It seems there was a leak but I can't work out what happened! I made sure his willy was poking down - what else could it be?

Not a snug enough fit or cuff turned in under elastic ? dh once left it poking up - big mistake !

agree with sally - tesco ones are better

Agree that they're not very absorbant - and as he'd just been swimming he'd probably swallowed loads and done a really big wee!

WigWamBam · 04/02/2006 17:43

If you want an absorbent pull up then something like Easy Ups are better - the other pull-up type things are more for potty training so as others have said, they don't hold a lot of wee.

May be just superwee, I take my son swimming and use cloth - I forgot his nappy the other day (doh!) and had to use a terry square - when I got home 30 mins later I could have rung it out it was so wet!!!! Swimming is definitely the time to get your most absorbant nappy out or boost I think (Boots do disposable boosters if you want to try that)
