3 month old won't take a bottle - help!

Tips and ideas needed, feel like we've tried everything, different kinds of bottle, breast milk, formula, warmed up, room temp...

DH is offering it regularly with me out of the way but DD is having none of it. Would quite like her to take a bottle every now and then just so I can have a bit of a break. How long does it usually take BF babies to adjust to feeding from a bottle? Are there lots of tears along the way? This might be where we're going wrong as neither of us want DD to be distressed by it and so won't push it when she cries.

I had this problem with ds. We never really cracked it tbh. We got somewhere with cup feeding (i had a little slanted 1oz avent cup the given to me by HV) and by 5 months we were using a spout cup. Worth a try?

Dh had some success after a bid and watched and then gave some feedback Blush basically ds is bf and therefore used to a certain amount of resistance iyswim

Ds2 refused the bottle and as I wasn't going back to work til 7 months we concentrated on using an open cup instead, he is now 16 months still has 3 bfeeds a day but uses lidded and open beakers too.
