...what did you do?

I know a third child is extra money, will delay career further, will contribute to population growth, will put pressure on the family, is bad for the environment, will not fit in the house or the car, will mean a pregnancy with 2 dcs... but... but.

I know I've always wanted 3. I'll always want 3.

I want 3.

What did you do? Was it the right decision?

I always knew deep down I wanted another one but I waited until DCs were 14 and 16 to do it! It has meant buying everything again and extending the house but whole family is really excited:)

That's so lovely. I could leave a long gap, was quite young having the first 2. Not sure I have the patience Grin

I was 22 and 25 when I had first 2. I did get married at 18 though! Married 21 years this summer- baby due in may :)

We wanted three, tried for 2 n half years for a third, finally gave up last autumn and embraced life with the two wonderful DC we have been lucky enough to have...moved to three bed house, 4 seater car, started college, really embraced it all...

...Number three is due on the 9th of July...complete unheaval and we can't bloody wait Grin

I would go for it, you clearly really want 3 and sounds like you might regret it if you don't .
I have 3, and some of the things you mentioned like a pregnancy with the 2 other dc may be totally fine. i never got any sickness at all with my 3rd! despite having it bad with the other 2. and as for fitting them in the house, car etc you can find a way round it. may be a squash temporarily but things can change, you will work it out

wants3 thats lovely aww how exciting! and babydubs too, congrats!

3 is the best thing I ever did albeit accidentally. I dithered about 3 for ages for all the reasons you mentioned and then had a contraception failure. Lovely 3 month old is here in front of me gazing adoringly. It has had the opposite effect than I thought it would, we seem to have all mellowed and I wouldn't be without her.
