Hi does anyone have any ideas of good places to take dc for first haircut? my ds is almost 18mths so would really appreciate somewhere with a few toys etc.

Did anyone go anywhere special for first haircut? I live in oxfordshire so anywhere local (ish) would be especially good!

TIA

tbh I cut my daughters hair not a hairdresser. I put her in her high chair infront of the tv and give her chocolate buttons to make sure she sits still :-). Ok, her fringe can some times be a tad wonky, but does the job x

DH takes DS (17 months) with him when he goes. DS sits on DH's lap and has a quick trim, then I take him to the nearby park for a bit while DH has his hair cut.

The hairdresser hasn't charged us for DS yet, as he only takes 5 minutes because that is as long as he will sit still for.
