When does late nap become early bed time?

My sleep resisting 5monther has been asleep for a record hour and a bit. Her usual bedtime is 7. When she wakes do I try and put her straight back as if it were bedtime or do i let her up a bit and have a later 'bed'

I'd do a letter bed. Otherwise she will wake up hour and a half earlier than she usually does.

Good point. She's still asleep. I actually do not know what to do with myself! This never happens.

I'd suggest you may have a bubba up all evening with you now! I assume she is not dressed for bed so once she's woken will you do bedtime routine? I wouldn't bother trying to put her straight back to bed if she's not tired. She'll be in a good mood after such a long sleep though! Grin

actually I disagree. When DS was a baby 9can't remember exactly how old. He went for a latish nap at 4.30 and was so sound asleep I didn't have the heart to wake him - saw him again at 7am! I would go in and potter round his room a bit, if he stirs, fine, get him up for a bit, if not, leave him.

Lucky you Trixie! I guess we can all only speak from our own experience. Good luck OP!

Still sleeping. We've done a dream feed and swapped her jeans for pyjama bottoms. Nappy seemed safe. Thus is most unusual! I even had dinner off a plate with actual cutlery, instead of grabbing biscuits between popping up the stairs.Smile

Lovely! I hope she didn't have you up too early this morning.
