does the ikea bed tent fit other beds?

It didn't fit my DS's standard width mid bed and we had to take it back.

It will depend on how wide your child's bd frame is. When we bought her the bed we looked in ikea for different beds that we could fit the tent and it was impossible. The tent even in ikea is made to fit only one bed.

Maybe if you add something to the frame of the bed to make it wider you may be able to fit it.

I agree, the tent appears to be made specifically for one type of Ikea bed. PITA

We have an Argos mid sleeper with the ikea tent. The rails of the bed were too narrow so dh screwed a piece of wood about an inch squared to the rail (there are 6 clips on the tent) to clip the tent too. Works perfectly and you can't see the piece of wood because it's the same size as the clip so it's covered.
