How often does your 4 year old boy go to the toilet during the day?

My 4 year old DS only goes about 3, rarely 4, times a day. Once in the morning, once at night and somewhere in between.
He hasn't had an accident for almost a year and he drinks 5-6 cups of dilute ribena a day. I encourage him to go each time we go out but he refuses. I can't make him and don't want to make a big deal of it?
My girls used to sit on the loo and squeeze out something whenever we went out the door.
Is 3 times a day a problem?

sounds like my dd but she doesnt drink much. DS, on the other hand, drinks loads and therefore goes to the toilet much more often

My DS goes a ridiculously small number of times, comparable to yours I think OP.

For every 1 time he goes I think i need to go about 5 times...

Gargula I think that's the problem. I go 10 x more often than he does and it just highlights the difference!

My DS is 6 now but must have a bladder the size of a football I swear he doesn't go to the loo all day at school.

Sounds about normal to me.

My youngest has just turned 3 but he goes about 4 times a day, 5 if he's had a lot to drink.

My eldest is 8 and he doesn't go much either about 3 times a day (morning, afternoon & before bed). I am the same.

My fella's kids on the other hand are a pain in the arse they are always needing the loo, They go about twice of a morning, afternoon at least once and again before bed and still often wake everyone up getting up in the night or early hours of the morning to go again and you can guarantee as soon as you go out anywhere they will need the toilet within 5 minutes especially if there aren't any about, so on average about 5-6 times a day (6-7 if you count getting up in the night).
