DH says he does not remember any, either standard Italian or dialect (area near Cassino). I would like to use some with our DD. Can anyone suggest good books or CDs?

Can't help on the CD's I'm afraid but he must surely remember "giro giro tondo" - it's similar to ring a ring a roses.

You can get some on YouTube (try La Bella Lavanderina or o che bel Castello). If you do find a cd, please let s know, I am after one too.

babyboomboom CD is what we use. It's your traditional English nursery rhymes in English and Italian. My LO has got on great with it. It's sold on Amazon. Smile

DD loves lo Zecchino d'Oro but they're not really nursery rhymes, more children's songs... Youtube's great :)

We love BabyBoomBoom too. The Zecchino d'Oro range of books are brilliant and each comes with a cd. Dd's favourites are "Volevo un gatto nero" and "44 gatti".

I own a company that imports and sells foreign speaking language toys - predominantly Fisher Price in the UK and EU. We also have a number of Italian speaking toys all of which also have several nursery songs.
Please check www.babeltots.co.uk if this would be of any interest.
