Close pop in..Minkee vs Bamboo?

Hello!

Myself and OH have Decided to have a go with reusable nappies as the guilt from disposables has got too big to bare!
Decided probably will buy a few Close parent pop in nappies but unsure whether to go for bamboo or Minkee version.

We Don't have a tumble dryer so will be air drying but as we live in a flat we're a bit limited for drying space so thought the Minkees may be the best option, but am worried about losing out absorbency.
Does anybody have experience of both the bamboo and Minkee versions? How do the Minkees compare on absorbency
Thanks!

I have had both and my advice is without a tumble dryer only go for the bamboo ones if you have plenty of radiator/hanging space for drying the bamboo.
The bamboo is more absorbent but I just couldn't get them dry, we have very few radiators and very limited drying space so minkee is better for us.

Thanks InSeine.
We haven't got much space for drying either.
How did you find the Minkee for absorbency?

I found them fine until my eldest got to 2.5 yrs and she was doing massive wees and they struggled to handle them, I found that boosting with a hemp/bamboo insert did the trick though, and the boosters dry quicker than the nappies because they are a lot thinner, plus you can have lots of them so if some are not dry in time to go back in the nappy you can put a fresh one in (hope that makes sense!)

Sorry, that makes no sense. I meant that a bamboo booster dries a lot quicker than a bamboo nappy because the booster is thinner. They might still take longer than a minkee nappy though.

Good to know, thanks! :)

If you don't mind having the old version with the pastel colours you can get good discount prices now as the newer ones have been released.
