Hi!

I stareted my Access to Higher Ed today and I need to get hold of 2 text books. I don't mind paying the full whack for them but I know you MNers love to help and thought I might ask around first.

Do any of you have copies of the following books that you are not using any more that I could purchase?

Sociological Themes and Perspectives - Haralambos

Psychology: The Science of Mind and Behaviour - Gross

Obviously the more recent the edition the better but I'm not too fussy

Thank you xxxx

Starlover - planning on borrowing from library til I have funds for copies of my own unless I can get hold of them at a reduced rate.

i only bought ONE book for my access course. wished i hadn't bothered.
waste of money

Coathanger · 30/01/2006 21:28

Aimsmum that would be great. I'm sure the postage will be less than the £45 Amazon are asking for the pair!!

I know what you mean Sallystrawberry, but tutor quite keen for us all to have access to a copy. Begrudge paying so much for them. Thanks for the advice though
