Motherease wraps for newborn

Hi. I have a selection of motherease airflow wraps that I have picked up preloved, but only have one in a size XS - will small airfolw wraps fit a newborn or should I look for some others for the first few weeks? Know this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question as newborns come in all shapes and sizes, but want to be able to use reuseables as soon as possible once the baby is here. Thanks!

Xs fitted my two seven pound babies fine, but, to be honest, in the few fuzzy weeks of having new baby all that extra washing and changing was not top priority and I mostly used eco disposables. DD in particular has very liquid poo ! Used cloth with both from about 7 weeks.

Sorry, have reread your post. Small wraps fitted from about 4 weeks or ten pounds.

Personally I used small size Air Flows on mine from birth, about 7lb 2oz I think was the lightest. They do look roomy but they functioned fine, used over terries and shaped nappies. If baby is expected to be smaller than 7lbs or so you may want to pick up a couple more XS ones to be on the safe side but I'd look for preloved because you won't need them long, and the smaller sizes don't get much wear so preloved tend to be in good condition. For my babies 10lbs was more like 9/10 weeks old - babies growth rates can vary enormously and mine tend to be on the little side.

I am a MEAF fan and have used 100% cloth since DD was 24 hours old (now 6m)

i found the XS lollipop wraps the best when tiny due to the cut away for the chord.

by 3 - 4 weeks (and still
