We all worry about getting it all wrong, so what does your experience show was a great idea?

I have three little ones so I'd like to know as well?

Kendodd-by the time you are on your third teen you might have it sussed. That's my experience but I did space mine out age wise!

Say what you mean, mean what you say and do what you say you are going to do.

Don't sweat the small stuff.
Anything genuinely done through love cannot be wrong.
They are first and children second. Respect heir opinions, even if they might be TOTALLY WRONG!

Can you tell we are relaxed, chilled, leave them to it, completely he opposite of helicopter parents? The DC (18 and 15) are relaxed, kind, gentle, happy people.

Quite a bit of that might be nature, not nurture though, and that is the problem with parenting advice. I can only really advise you on how to parent the children that I produced :)

My oldest three are 24,23 and 19 they are genuinely really nice people. I am sure a lot of it was luck as I'm pretty laid back and parented pretty lazily Blush I always insisted on good manners and speaking politely and respectfully and that seems to ensure others believe they are decent people but that's about it tbh.
