My DD covers her face with anything she gets her hands on - I think it is a comfort thing - she does not panic and seems to like it but clearly I need to nip this habit in the bud!! Any ideas ?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Do you need to nip it in the bud? I don't imagine she'll keep it up for long - as her awareness and abilities increase she'll grow out of it. Apparently I used to do this lots with my 'blanky' I don't remember so mustn't have kept it up. You could play peepo with her with it - make it fun to come back out from behind?

My DS used to do the same thing. He would pull a muslin square/sheet/blanket over his head and go to sleep. Bit like a parrot Confused. As long as you're not giving her anything that isn't breathable she'll be fine, I'm sure.

thanks for your replies - its usually her muslin which is very light - will stand down from red alert and keep an eye on her - oh the worries - it never ends does it!!

True! and if you don't have anything to really worry about it will feel wierd so you worry about that!

I am considering also having a software upgrade to have a guilt-trip-override function added. Grin

Lol! Know what you mean! Watched her tonight and it's not as dire as I first thought.
