Question for anyone who gets free nappies for a SN child.

My ds is almost 4 and still in nappies. He has ASD and me, his nursery and his home tutor have realised that he doesn't get or understand the 'I need to go' signal. No problem but now he has decided that he wants more control over being changed. He likes Pull ups as he can change himself when he thinks he is too uncomfortable or wet. Control is a big thing for ds.
My question is would the nappy people let ds have pull ups instead of regular nappies?

yes, we get libero 'up and go' pull ups. always have done. they're fine, but not as easy to pull up and down as the pampers ones.

He wouldn't care. It's a control thing for him. He hates having the nappy put on but delights n taking it off!!
It's not so much for toilet training just to give him the control that he craves.
Im going to be giving them a call in the morning to see if he can have them instead.
Thanks Geekgrrl!!
