I have another query if you don't mind reading!
My DD (2yrs 4mths) is very fussy eater, as in, she likes plenty of stuff but she actually doesn't like sitting and start eating.
I used to put videos on my mobile ohone and while she holds it I used to feed her. I know this is totally wrong but I was really tired of the strugle to make her eat ONE forkfull.
For the past 2-3 weeks I have tried to make her eat without the mobile phone, with bribes, dancing every time she ate (I know), not giving her midmorning or afternoon snacks and eventually with a very simple reward chart. Nothing works, she just pushes the plate away.
As DP is away and yesterday was her first efternoon at nursery and it was late I just couldn't go through all that and I put her little table and little chair in the living room and sat her, not actually in front of the telly but she could see it. She ate alone, and almost everything on the plate!! I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so nice and relaxing, and I know she will ask for it tonight again, so... do you think I opened pandoras box?? I feel so tempeted to just do this until she is a bit bigger... or is that a really bad isea?
Please let me know what do you think.
Thanks!
