Waiting for PGCE news

Had my PGCE interview 3 weeks ago. The uni said I should hear within 2 weeks - a couple of people I know heard yesterday, and another today, but I am still waiting.

This is agony. How am I supposed to write essays when I have this hanging there and no idea what is going to happen?

Just venting, really....

Not pgce but I'm also waiting to hear if I've got into uni - I was interviewed on 27th Jan, they said 2-3 weeks but now saying it's going to be early march. The wait is bloody awful, I feel I'm in limbo and I can't help feeling negative as time goes on despite feeling confident after the interview. It's a very competitive course (as is pgce I believe) that I want to do. So you have my sympathy, I know exactly how you feel. Still, I'm using it as an excuse to get pissed on a Friday night as another week passes with no word, so every cloud etc GrinGrin

The waiting is awful, isn't it?

Oak maiden - I'm doing a pgce primary now, will qualify in June. Just wanted to say, it's brilliant I love it so much. But omg the work load (this term in particular is 15000 words worth of essays) is insane. If I could give any advice it'd be to willingly take offers of help to have the kids now and again to get your head down! Good luck Smile

Thank you, first. I am really apprehensive about the work load. I think I am preparing for the toughest year of my life....

Well done. I've got 3 months left on my secondary science PGCE & it's been great. Enjoy your summer holidays....
