Sorry - Just soft poo or diarrhea?

DD ( 10 months) has had a tummy bug this week, it started with vomiting on Monday morning, Tuesday no vomiting but feeling very sorry for herself, Wed and Thursday numerous bottom explosions, however Friday and today we have just had one or two very very soft poos.

Question is, is this still diarrhea or just soft poo? reason I ask is that she was supposed to start nursery last week but couldn't go because of this, their rules are no episodes of illness 48 hours prior to going if you get what I mean.

She is supposed to be going to nursery at lunchtime on Monday, should I send her?

She has had alot of soft foods as she has not had a great appetite this week, mainly baby rice, bananas, milk, fruit puree are about the only things I can get her to eat. She is teething too!

How is she in herself now?

Teething can cause loose poo, so that is probably contributing to the softness.

If they're still loose tomorrow I'd think about hanging on until Tuesday before sending her, but if she's back to normal then I'd send her (and as a CM I have a 48 hour exclusion period for children)

Thanks, apart from being grumbly from the teething, she is mostly normal in herself. Still not got much of an appetite, but I think some of that is from the teething, she will eat anything I spoon feed her but she doesn't like bottles or chewing on anything like toast.

Is it every nappy? That was our nursery's criteria for soft poo vs diarrhoea. If it's soft but not every nappy they were happy that it wasn't diarrhoea.

No, not every nappy, only 3 poos since Thursday evening until about 3pm today. But one quite explosive one and 2 very soft ones.

Wednesday and Thursday it was every hour or so.
