oh i'd love to learn how to do that!...but is it tiring?!

MistressMary · 26/01/2006 21:06

It's an old Indian tradition carried from the Ayerveda healing system and it is the balancing of energies.
Basically it is a massage of the head, neck, shoulders and upper arms.
Lovely!
Um it's quite physical looking and so I guess I'll find out in time if it is tiring to do.
Lots of Anatomy and Physiology of the head etc to learn and obviously the moves and the sequences to follow. You have to know what the contra-indications are and know when to seek reference to a Doctor.
I also have to learn Health and Safety, legislation etc and some business sense if I decide to start up one.
I have to do case studies on people as have assesments done and get all my work verified by and external verifier. Oh and I got to get 100 per cent too!
Then I can practice with my Diploma under my belt!
