Bambino Mio Nappies

Is anyone out there currently using Bambino Mio nappies?????? I used them for a while and then started to worry about whether my d is comfortable in them. The velcro fastening doesn't feel very soft, surely this isn't comfy on her tummy esp when she sits up????????

I swapped to Bumpy Wraps and threw away the BMs for that very reason. Luckily I gave up on them after small size and had not bought a package. Bumpys are much better in that you can wash them with the nappies, without the velcro going hard and they go on and on. I am just having to bin a couple of extra large ones after about 3 years of continual use on 2 boys.

Hiya, Thanks for the reply, I unfortunately bought the whole birth to potty package after hearing such good things about them!!!! I haven't opened the next size up nappies and covers yet cos I'm so unsure as to what to do. How did you come across Bumpy Wraps?????

I think I read about them somewhere. I get everything from Twinkle twinkle now. Are we allowed to put www.twinkleontheweb.co.uk? They are great. Big selection and lots of choice.
If you haven't opened them and still have the receipt, I would try to take them back.
BTW, I still use all the BMs prefolds. I think they are very good and they fit into Bumpy wraps no problem.

I gave up on my BM covers too (bought a birth to potty pack). But use the nappies in Fuzzi Bunz now.

How did you get on with the folding of the nappies????? I only seem to be able to do the basic fold, which did work ok but I wondered whether using the other ways of folding helped with leakages?????? Thanks for the web details I shall look into it. How do fuzzi bunz fasten?????

Hi eldestgirl, I've looked on that website, isn't it soooo confusing as to which to use?!?!?!?!? Did you use the hook n loop fastenings at all, it's just that I'm thinking of trying them?! The bumpy wraps seem quite expensive, how many would you recommend I have for each stage? Also, did you use the night time ones too?
