I've had enough of my kids. They ignore me, disrespect me and do what they want. Told them I'm leaving. Can't be with them anymore they hate me, and I've told them I don't like them. I'm going. They can stay here with DH and get the fuck on with it. I'm done.

I'm sat here feeling pretty much the same tbh so you have my sympathy Sad

How old are they? Can you go for a drive and sit with a book or something. That's what I do when I can't stand to be in the same house as DH.

Lucy :(

Most of us have been there or will be one day. You sound like you need a break.

DD1 is 8
DS is 3
DD2 is 19 months

I'm about to get them into bed, hopefully without losing my rag in the process.

If you were near me I'd invite you round for wine and toffee dodgers. I doubt you are (Northern Scotland?!) but do you have a friend you could visit or something?

ChippingInLovesEasterEggs · 11/02/2012 19:29

Oh dear :(

Do you often feel like this or are you having an especially bad day?

Is DH any help?

Do you want to talk about specific problems you are having with them?

I think it's quite hard with those age gaps as you have 3 very different sets of needs to be met and different levels of expectation re behaviour etc - it's all a bit of a balancing act isn't it - and sodding hard work.

Thanks for the sympathy.

They are just so tiresome. I'm sure I'll get over it Smile
