It's me again the annoying one! I have been concidering potty training my DS who is 3.1 but the problem I have is we are moving house (oh and country), he is staring a new nursery and we are going on holiday abroard in the matter of 8 weeks. Should I wait or carry on trying to train him!

If you feel he is progressing well then carry on, if he isn't that bothered by it I'd leave it until he's settled into new home and nursery.

Id leave him until hes settled. Do you really need more work when it looks like youve got a lot of things going on anyway? On the other hand my philosophy on kids is let them lead the way, so if you think he's ready then theres your answer. Sorry not very helpful really.

The longer you leave it, the easier it is, ime. My ds was quite keen to start using the loo, so I took that as my signal. I think he was about 3.2 or 3.3. You can do it earlier, obviously, but it involves more work and more accidents!

hayley i toilet trained in the middle of house move, no probs

but i do think it worked out ok cos it was the middle of summer and dd1 just ran around the garden bare bummed. i think summer weather has an advantage.

i odnt know what i would do if i were you! i think i would wait. what does ds want to do
