Dose it matter what age ds is when he has the MMR vaccination he will be 16 mths in 2wks time. Ive delayed making an appointment for him as he has just got over a cold and plus im a bit nervous about having it done.

I got all of mine done at around 18 months. You may notice some pressure from your GP at that time - I think there may be some financial incentives for GPs to get their patients' MMRs done before 18 months.

not a doc or nurse, but I think it doesn't matter too much. DD and ds had their first injection (I went for singles for my own reasons, so no starting a debate here ) at 14 months old. However, e.g. I know my neighbour had her dd 'done' when she was nearly two. If you are really worried ask your HV she should know

mine had just had hers last thursday and she is nearly 16 mths old.... i delayed cos of one cold after the other and now she is fine!!
