Pushchair advice needed!

Hello!

So, we have a bulky but comfy and bouncy Mothercare 3-wheeler but it's just too hefty and annoying for quick trips out to the shop or park. Also we live on the 2nd floor and we have to leave the pushchair in the car because it's too big to keep in the communal hallway. When one of us takes the car, we're screwed!

We need a cheap, lightweight, basic umbrella stroller suitable for a 9 month old. We're both tall so handle height is an issue, and we travel a lot with work so we live in airports and train stations. One-handed collapsing therefore a definite must!

Handing this over to you for suggestions! We've found the John Lewis Stripey Travel Stroller, the Koochi Roadrunner and the Mothercare M-Bu online. Any experience of these?

Most grateful for any advice!

I have a Maclaren Techno XT and love it. My travel system was a big disappointment. In retrospect, I should have bought the Maclaren from birth...

I was looking at those but I read a few reviews saying that tall parents tended to kick the back wheels... But might go back and check them out. Thanks for the suggestion!

We are both tall and the Techno XT is fine and very light yet sturdy and easy to.handle.
