Newborn with eggy burps

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of what this might be? baby is 4 days old and arrived very quickly. She didn't pass any meconium for first 48 hours which made the docs all twitchy so I got her checked out and she started pooing fine, but when I mentioned the eggy burps the doctor didn't say anything about it. Thought maybe it was just cos her system backed up, but now she is pooing but still eggy am feeling a bit worried. Didn't have this with either of my sons. She is BF btw.

Any advice?
Thanks

'Eggy' usually means 'sulphur'. Do you eat a lot of vegetables or beans?

My DS had really eggy trumps when he was a few days old. Midwife said it might be some mucus stuck in their belly from the birth but nothing to worry about. It cleared after a few more days. Congratulations on your baby! Smile
