I failed a TMA last spring & after many and varied delays I submitted it pre Christmas - it was the final module for my degree (ordinary not honours)

A week ago Thursday I was offered a chance on an EYP (the 6 month pathway), if I had passed my degree. I got in touch with OU & they were all it's 6 weeks to mark it & I explained the whole thing - they said it would be done by 4th Feb

So I told the EYP people who said that for funding I needed it there for 30th Jan

I ask OU if it was possible for them to tell the Uni what my grade would be & they said actually it will be another 2 weeks

So I phone my tutor who said to email the Vice-chancellors office - I did

& I told the EPY people it would be 2 weeks; they gave the place they were saving for me to the next person on the waiting list

I got my result today.....too late Sad

Sad Not sure what to say.....

Could you send your result to EYP people....as if you didnt know they had given your place away and see what happens? Maybe someone else will drop out?

I have done, but I don't hold out much hope

Nope

They have arranged for me to do the under graduate pathway which takes a year; but they think I might finish it early - it's so frustrating
