Does your baby purr and gargle?

My DS (10 mo) makes the strangest noises and has done since birth really, he purrs, makes a gargling noise, sometimes it even sounds like static/ white noise. It's usually when he's contented, so I know it's nothing to worry about. In fact it's very sweet. Just wondered if anyone else has noticed this?

My DS makes a noise that sounds very much like I imagine a baby penguin to sound...

My 8mo both purrs and growls. When she was newborn I used to joke it would have been less trouble to get another dog instead, I figure she was listening.

My ds cooes like a pigeon, and does wookie noises.
