Do I cut his hair??

DS is 9 months old now and i'm considering his first hair cut. I'm not talking a shave it all off type of haircut, just a trim and tidy.

Its getting long at the sides (coming over his ears) and at the back and is basically starting to look a bit out of control.

I have no problem with getting it cut but so many people are telling me I shouldn't with no real reason as to why!

Thoughts people?

Thanks

I cut dds hair myself untill she was 3, probably first hair cut was a simiar age, but was just the front coming down over face, and the top that would stand up and not sit flat. I would not bother with the back or sides if it is only just coming down over ears. she was well over a yaer before the back was cut.

if you think he needs a trim give it a go, no one elses business really.

People kept telling me not to cut my son's hair because he had lovely blonde curls. That wasn't what stopped me, more laziness and it not being that long, but he did look very cute and angelic with his little locks. In fact I was in a bit of trauma when I finally did cut it, as he was hardly recognisable. Not sure I was happy to have waited or not!

Cut it now, save a lock of it and don't worry about other people.
