Spacecadet is currently having to deal with more than anyone should ever have to deal with in a lifetime.

She has experienced over the last few months a stillbirth, serious illness, looking after with no help a house full of children and a consequence a husband who has walked out.

Please can we do something positive and practical to help spacey out over the next few months.

Lovely mumsnet have said that they will give out the details of their po box address so that any of us that feel so generously inclined could rustle up a few quid to go into a nanny fund or an au pair fund or so that we can find a company that make lovely homemade food and deliver it to her every week.

Please support me on this - If everyone gave just £1 we'd be able to offer some amazing help to SC.

I'm sorry Spacey if you are angry with me for starting this thread - I know you are proud and you have coped admirably with everything - but please just accept that we want to help.

I will post details of who to make cheque payable to and where to send it, just as soon as I have the details. In the meantime, please look behind your cushions on your sofa and in the bottom of your handbag amongst the fluff to dig out those coins.

Thank you so much
DHW

What a shit. Huge cyber hugs SC. Wish I could do more.
Maybe through all the snot & tears, a little bit of your brain could try and see this as a new start for you.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 22/01/2006 14:48

Yes he loved his present from Mars and announced to me that Mars must love him very much.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 22/01/2006 14:49

Right, now you need to indulge yourself today, and tomorrow be strong for your children.

Misspiggy · 22/01/2006 15:20

Sometimes waiting for something to happen is worse than the actual event IYSWIM. Today will be awful but he's finally gone so in a strange way you can relax as the strain of being in the same house and being "on a countdown" to when he goes is no longer there. Did his father have anything to say on the matter when he was there? FWIW it doesn't sound as if your DH was comfortable with his decision. (((((hugs))))

spacecadet · 22/01/2006 17:14

aww bless him LGJ!
misspiggy, i forgot to let you know that i got your card, thank you.

Jackstini · 22/01/2006 17:34

Frizbetheexpansionset · 22/01/2006 18:43

Oh SC, so sorry your going thru all of this, but your being very brave, keep it up gal, certainly sounds like there's a lot more sorting out to do on dh's part.....not that that helps {{{{Big Hugs}}}} off also to paypal....

Morning Spacey.....not been online much last couple of days, and sad to catch up and hear how rough its been. Though I suppose sometimes things have to get rough to get better - at least IME. Sending hugs and cyber chocolate for the start of the week...

Elibean · 23/01/2006 10:46

X post. Madame Spacey, if its any consolation (doubt it) I gave my Mum a really hard time when my Dad left. It wasn't to do with her at all, I was just scared and angry and he wasn't there to be angry at. Hugs, hugs, hugs.

LadySherlockofLGJ · 23/01/2006 10:46

Why did you row with DD1 ??

LadySherlockofLGJ · 23/01/2006 10:51
