Disposables bigger than size 6?

this area might just be for reusables... Which isn't what I'm after... But have a problem with size 6 nappies leaking, I've tried pampers and huggies, pull ups and regular ones, no joy...

Are there more absorbable/ larger sizes available cause I can't see anything larger than 6 in the supermarket... And I'm doing a lot of washing as a consequence...!

Help?

There must be nappies available for older children with special needs, but not sure where you'd get them.

That's what I thought... Bump!

Does your child have special needs/ if so it might be worth trying to get them through the NHS.

Otherwise 2 nappies is the only way to go.

My son has special needs and today has got his first lot of nhs supplied nappies, they are a size 7 nappy called libero comfort fit for 15-30 kgs, if you google it you will find suppliers who you can buy from but they are expensive to buy, however may be worth seeing if any will send you free samples so that you can see if the cost is justified.

Lunar did you mean 2 nappies - literally wearing 2 nappies at the same time?? Not a bad idea actually. Now to convince DS...

yes 2 nappies at the same time - works easiest with a pull up underneath and normal nappy on top making sure that the normal nappy covers everything.

Tootired - is he anywhere near potty training? otherwise I might suggest trying to sit him on a potty after he's had a bad drink.

Just a thought does he drink an awful lot???

what about night time pull ups for older children?
