Youngest starting school, I am dreading it.

My youngest child starts school next September and frankly I am dreading it. I will really miss the time we spend together, going to see friends and going to various groups. After over 8 years of having a little one there will be a huge hole. Yes I will have more time to persue other interests. May slack off on my business to spend more time with her before she starts as want to make the most of our time. Plenty of time to devote to it once she is settled into school.
Your thoughts/tips please Thanks

Oh dear, you sound sad Sad I have no words of wisdom I'm afraid, I have one is school and one in nursery still but didn't want you to be ignored Smile, hopefully this will bump it up for you.

Mine too OP. My DS2 will be cruelly snatched from my bussom in September. He already does three school hours days at pre-school and that is enough.

What I find doubly hard is that when DS1 was about to go to school, we set about conceiving DS2 (succeeded very quickly) because I knew DS1 was not going to be around during the day. Now I am not in that place where conceiving another one five years down the line would be a good option for me: getting/feeling older/kids more free and easy/currecnt economic climate etc.

Thank you Bramblina for your kind sentiment. Let's hope some mums who have gone through this can share their experience and wisdom. Bobbly gussets, keep looking at the bread and hopefully you can benefit from it too.
