When is the soonest I can transfer baby to bed from crib?

Hi, she's in her crib (she's 9.5 mo) and it's been fine until now. But the thing is, the crib's a little bit broken. So now that's she's more mobile, it's not that safe anymore. We have a twin bed for her already. I read that she can use a bed when she's 35 inches tall, but now she's only 29 inches tall. But I really want to move her out of that damn crib asap. Does anyone use the Gro company's zipped in sheet set for a baby with any success? (It has a fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillow case that all zip together to prevent falling out of bed). Thanks!

You can do it whenever you like, although I wouldn't risk a normal single bed because of the falling out risk. I wouldn't trust any sheets to stop falling out and if they did would worry how the must restrict movement.

I would go for a cot if at all possible

Do you have the space to store the bed base and just use the mattress for the next year till she's bit more mobile?
