question for amby users about using it for a newborn

Hi

Im planning to use our Amby Hammock which is in storage for dc2 due in june. I was wondering whether I need to buy a 'snuggler' for using it for a newborn? One website said its only for babies up to 7.5lb (think it may have been Kiddicare). But another website didn't specify weight, just said its for newborns...so a bit confused. Last time we didn't buy the hammock til ds1 was 3 months old so this wasn't an issue.

Many thanks!

I used it for dd from the age of 2 weeks and definitely found I needed to use wedges which is what we had in the house at the time. She was swaddled as well and the both together kept her nice and stable.
