Present for a 4 year old girl?

I'm not sure where to put this, but Parenting sounded reasonably sensible. Obviously, we have just had Christmas and DD had plenty of presents, but I'm wondering what I can now get her for her birthday which is very soon! She had (not just from us) a Kiddizoom camera, Sylvanian families, cash register, Gogo hamster, rag doll, books, stickers, princess dress and a Leapfrog Tag book/pen.

Can I ask what your 4 year olds had for Christmas/birthdays that was a hit!?

A mini suitcase cheap thing think paddington bear
Inside was lots of cheap princess type things
Frilly feather pens
Bath confetti
Flannel compacted into miniature
Lip balm
Perfume - some kids thing squirts not sprays
Couple other bits

She has carted it around non stop. We have done bath time bed time homework time and food time activities with it.

So simple!
Once the case is empty, she can put dolls to bed in it.
It was from my SIL who isn't flush so max cost was around £15
Such a knack for presents that girl!!

My 4yr old - amongst ALL the fab presents she got this christmas - really enjoys Buckaroo and her building blocks. She giggles a lot when the horse bucks but she gets equally engrossed in building towers and 'things'!

Last year I got my DD a medical kit (toy one) which she is still playing with and she also got a nurses dress up outfit.
The suitcase idea is good - the container is often the best bit of the present!

My dd had very similar presents to yours and she is 5 in march so I am also struggling. The things she has played with most (that aren't on your list) that she got for Christmas are:

Snakes and Ladders
Guess Who
Hama beads/Junior painting by numbers
Playmobil Noahs Ark
She also adores her jewellery box with musical ballerina that my mum got her and a snow white figurine (porcelain)
Some Osborne very early reader books - phonetic but about pirates and dinosaurs and she's really been enjoying reading them herself as the stories are so much better than biff et al
Tumtum and Nutmeg books (gorgeous chapter books about 2 little mice - I've enjoyed reading them to her) Lots on Amazon about £4 each
Huggle buddie has gone everywhere with her

I am thinking of getting her junior monopoly and a season pass to Paultons Park (children's theme park near us) as she really doesn't need any new toys now. I will suggest to other family to get books, arts and crafts stuff, some accessories for her bike.

The other present DD got this Xmas which she has enjoyed is a puppet theatre, and the dolls house she got last year is still going strong.
