Apologies if this is in wrong place....at what age did your babies start producing consonants. My DS is 6 mths & makes lots of vowel sounds but no consonants. No goo, gaas etc...Would you expect him to yet? Am worried it could be a sign of hearing problem....

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

our dd started making consonant sounds quite early on (she's still only 3.5 months). but I really wouldn't worry if I was you. I don't think these things mean too much under one year of age. If still worried, ask your health visitor or GP for a hearing test for babies.
